365 days project - week 42

Things have been very hectic!  I went on a girls' weekend to Cardiff, which was a much-needed chance to let our hair down and forget all our stresses.  It's also been the last week before half term, which has meant lots and lots to do, especially preparing for exams when we get back.

So, all in all, not the most inspiring set of photos this week, but I have the week off, so I may be able to come up with something a bit better next week when I finally get some time off!

Day 295 - Speccie-four-eyes

I ran out of contact lenses this morning because I'm too disorganised and have too much going on at the moment, so I'm back to being a speccie-four-eyes at the moment.  I'm hoping it's making me look more intellectual!

Day 294

Hee hee!

I know this is a bit of a cheat - a photo of a card - but being a veggie, it does make me chuckle.

Day 293 - Wrapping up

Brrrr!  It's turned cold this week.  Really cold.  The winter woollies are properly coming out now.

Day 292 - Heaven

I'm so ready to curl up in my bed and shut out the world.
Day 291 - Glo!

So tired after my weekend!

We had the glo-sticks out on Saturday night (retro, baby!), so I'm lacking in imagination, here is my little glo-stick face.

Day 290

Here we are, ready to hit the town!

Crap photo, I know, but I'm having a weekend away so haven't really got the time to take decent photos.

I really did think my iphone should take better photos than this though; you can't even see our faces (probably a good thing in my case!)

Day 289

So, I'm having a weekend away in Cardiff with my best girl friends.  It's a much-needed chance for us all to let our hair down, so I'm afraid I've not really got the time to think about taking my camera or taking any decent shots.  Tonight I just grabbed a quick shot of one of my favourite shoes!

365 days project - week 41

Oh no!  I'm really behind with blogging my 365 project!  I've been really busy the last couple of weeks, but can finally breathe as I'm on half term now.  Catching up with week 41, then...

Day 288

Day 287

Busy busy busy!

Day 286 - Swirly chocolate spread

Sooo naughty!  But this is the most delicious treat.  White and milk chocolate swirled together.

I've been eating it spread on hobnob biscuits.  Mmmmmm!

Day 285 - Ruby Red

Day 284

Day 283

How can you say no to a face like that?

Day 282 - Autumn Bokeh

The sun was finally out today, and there was some lovely, golden hour light the afternoon at the park where these pretty little flowers were just peeking out!

365 days project - week 40

Day 281 - Sometimes only chocolate will do

It's been a crazy-busy day: a full day's teaching, then driving to another school for a two-hour meeting, then back to work for open evening.

By the time I got home I was cream crackered and nothing else would do other than a big chunk of chocolate.  Mmmmmm!

Day 280 - The 'shrooms are taking over

Euwwww!  They're back!  And they're multiplying!

Day 279 - Incy wincy

I'm really not bothered by spiders, so I found this guy quite fascinating when I found him spinning his web outside my back door.

Day 278

It got a bit late and I hadn't done my 365 shot (again!).  My straighteners were the nearest thing, so a quick, crap shot it was tonight.

Day 277 - Leave your hat on

I bought this hat a couple of weeks ago and just love it for when the weather gets a bit colder.  I realised late tonight that I hadn't taken a 365 shot, so this was a quick iphone photo.  Rubbish - sorry!

Day 276 - Tower of yum!

Day 275 - Autumn rain

365 days project - week 39

Day 274 - Need to switch off

Day 273 - Hope for Camille

Tomorrow is a crucial day for Camille.  She has a major operation, so you can imagine it is an extremely nerve-wracking time for her family.

I spotted this teeny-tiny flower out in the garden this evening, and I thought it was perfect to symbolise Camille's fight: tiny and delicate but still standing bright and proud despite the lousy weather being chucked its way.

There is still plenty of fundraising going on and the campaign still needs plenty of support.  You can visit the website and donate here Camille's Appeal.  Please take the time to read the blog by Camille's dad - it really does give an insight into a tiny bit of what they are all going through day to day.

Day 272 - Fallen

Day 271 - Crazy Ranger!

This is my friend's new puppy, Ranger.  He's nuts!

Day 270 - They just make me happy!

Oh, I know, it's obvious by now what a shoe-lover I am, but nothing can make me happy like a new pair of shoes!

Arent' they gorgeous?

Day 269

Day 268 - Wild!

It's pretty obvious that I love shoes.  As soon as I put on a really fierce pair it transforms me and makes me feel ready to take on anything.

I bought these when I was taking a school trip to a conference in Birmingham.  We had an hour off for lunch so I snuck off to the Bullring, spotted these and couldn't resist.  Unfortunately, the students walked past the shop and caught me out just as I was trying them on!
